July Outing – WaterFest

t’s time for Waterfest! Swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and tubing!! Get your sunscreen ready, pack that towel, and let’s head to Lake Lanier for fun on the water!Parents (if registered with BSA) are welcomed and encouraged to attend to experience Troop 143 camping first-hand. The Shady Grove facilities include showers and flushing toilets. This is a great opportunity for parents who don’t like to “rough it” to get in on the camping action. Please contact Glyn Dobson with any questions about your BSA registration.

Deadline: We must have at least 5 additional registered adults with swimmer certifications signed up for the outing by July 8 in order for this outing to continue. Registration final deadline for all participants: July 15, 2023, 8:30pm

Departure: Johns Creek UMC Parking Lot (Northwest corner – enter off Medlock Bridge Rd) Arrive at 5:30pm (eat dinner before); Depart at 6:00 PM sharp

Return: Johns Creek UMC Parking Lot (Northwest corner – enter off Medlock Bridge Rd) Arrive at approximately 1:00pm
