May Outing
This outing will be at Buford Dam Park at Lake Lanier (quick 25 minute drive from JCUMC), from 9am-3pm. Families will meet at Buford Dam Park where there will be fishing (please bring your own pole, there will be a few spares). Scouts and family members 16 years and older that are fishing must have a fishing license, (Click Here To Get A Fishing License) $5 a day per person or $15 a year. Other costs for outing is $10 a family and there is a $4 per car entry fee to the park. Deadline to signup is by the end of our Troop meeting on May 6th.

- Planned hike for those that don’t want to fish or do games
- Troop 143 will provide an ice cream snack for your family
- Please bring your own lunch for you and your family
- Troop 143 will provide live bait (worms, crickets)
- For non-scouts under 18 (a parent must remain at all times)
- Booked pavilion for shade
