About Troop 143: Our Story
Founded in 1998, we are a large troop (70+ Scouts), very active in the outdoors, in the community and in the Northern Ridge District. We camp monthly, including a full week of summer camp and a major high adventure trip each summer. Sponsored by Greenleaf Management, we have Scouts of all faiths.
Visit A Troop Meeting
We invite Webelos and their parents to visit with us to learn more about our Troop, our activities, our approach to scouting and expectations for scouts and parents.
You may visit us at any regularly scheduled troop meeting, held Mondays at 7:00 – 8:30pm at Brookwood HOA clubhouse, except for the first Monday of each month which is reserved for the Senior Patrol Leaders Meeting. Please email ahead to let us know you would like to attend a meeting. We will be certain to have a visitor’s packet available for you. We encourage Webelos to wear their Class A uniform to our meeting.
Community Service
Community service is an important part of the Boy Scout mission and of Troop 143. We provide “cheerful service” by supporting community service projects as a troop or via Eagle Scout projects. If you have a service opportunity for our troop, please fill out our contact and project information form. Our Service Coordinator will be in touch with you.
